Outlet for Children
This shop near Piazza Bologna in Rome is dedicated to the sale of pieces of clothing for moms and children. The choice of colors mixes up dark blue and light grey; a great deal of perspex pipes hang from the ceiling: some of these terminate with a light spot, some others with a metal chain, from which pieces of clothing can hang. The wall on the opposite side of the main entrance is covered with a mirror, in order to visually enlarge the space of the shop.
Gamay Wine bar
The façade of the small wine bar Gamay in the new Luoyang shopping mall converts this place into a reference point: external bottles in stainless steel rotate and reflect the exterior light, at the same time allowing a different degree of openness between inside and outside, depending on the needs. A bar counter is placed just after the main entrance: this is the place for quick wine tasting; on the back of the bar there a privée room is placed.
Following the general Fendi concept book developed by Architect Peter Marino, the Fendi boutique in Chinachem Shopping Mall makes extensive use of yellow Travertino marble and rusted corten, to remark the Roman origin of the worldwide-famous Italian brand. The boutique sells pieces of clothing (pret-a-porter), but has also a focus on accessories. Most of the furniture is designed on purpose and custom made.
